Poor planning on my part, but day 6 shoulda been day 5 since it's 5 of my favorite words. "Hi, Welcome to Cold Stone!" I have a routine every time I walk in the door, and it goes a little something like this: 1. Walk in door and wait for those 5 magic words. 1a. Comment under my breath about service going down hill if 5 magic words are not spoken with enthusiasm, or worse yet, at all. 2. Scour the ice cream choices and act intrigued by the cake batter flavor and ask for sample taste with no intention of ever actually ordering it - the free spoonful is somehow fun enough, even if it's only in my own mind that I think I'm getting away with something every visit. 3. Order sweet cream flavor with chocolate chip cookie dough. Always a winner. 3a. On this day I'm not a winner 'cause they're out of cookie dough. [insert picture of tear trickling down cheek here]. Panic. Regain composure. Act really bummed out and "settle" for Oreo cookie instead. 4. Enjoy & pretend it's fat free. 5. Repeat every couple weeks, more frequently during summer season.
