Day 191 ~ Before & After (A Man Card Revoked)
WHAT: Dogs, Project 365 (2009)   |   WHEN: July 11, 2009
I have never felt more manly than I do today.  Mia got her first hair cut today, and it seems the groomer felt 1 dainty pink bow just wasn't enough.  The 2nd one's a nice touch, don't ya think?  I seriously laughed out loud on the way home because, well, what else can you do when your dog looks so, ummm.... sweet.  I'm sorry, Mia.  Daddy's not laughing at you. I prom... okay, yes he is is.  He's laughing at you.

The kicker is when Kylie got home and sounded bummed when she said she dropped Mia off for her appointment and the groomer told her they didn't paint doggy nails there.  Wait, what?

This is what I was greeted with when I came to bed the other night... my two favorite girls. I love my life.

Day 103 ~ Another Technology Casualty
WHAT: Dogs, Project 365 (2009)   |   WHEN: April 20, 2009

The 411

Who: Guess
What: MacBook Pro power cord
When: Time of death - 10:14pm on Day 103
Where: In the living room behind the couch
Why: Motive remains unclear at this time, but suspect appears unremorseful. May have wanted a matching cable to go with the Wacom Tablet cable she allegedly chewed in a previous offense.

Day 95 ~ Another Stuffed Casualty
WHAT: Dogs, Project 365 (2009)   |   WHEN: April 9, 2009
With his football-sewn belly, teethy grin, half-weasel half-pooch looking body, I'm not even sure what this little guy is supposed to be. Whatever it is, though, he's been proverbially kicked to the curb after suffering a blow-out on his bottom side after a short stint as a tug-o-war tool for Mia. She loved making him (I'm assuming it's a him) squeak and chewing his guts out during play time.

I'd say this guy looks pretty happy to be getting away from the dog.
