Matt Nicolosi @Dana - Good question. I knew I'd be in several different spots in the room, and I needed a consistent focal point to make sure the images were easy to blend in Photoshop afterwards. I also wanted some depth of field since I would be at different distances. So, I ended up focusing on the hideous lighting fixture for every image with an aperture of f/8 to give me some DOF.
