Matt Nicolosi  You rocked, Melissa. You've got some great images that I can't wait for you to see when I finish them up. @Elaine & Debbie: Nope, not a wide angle lens. It was the 85mm lens and I just backed up into the street (occasionally dodging traffic) to get the window behind her in the frame). Obviously did some vignetting in post, but the lighting on her was created by having my assistant hold a flash with a 20x20 soft box attachment and directing it at Melissa from her left (camera right). The additional artificial light added more depth to the image than the flat, available light was providing.  Jun 18, 2009 ~ 12:16pm
Debbie  Elaine...that was my first thought. Matt...it looks as if you are at street level with subject, but include so much of the building without the distortion of wide angle? Lighting is beautiful...assuming darkening is post? Thanks!  Jun 18, 2009 ~ 11:07am
